Hello gang!

I have tried several times to post on Linda's board about the Mpls concert, but for some reason it was not taking. I'm not sure if there is a glitch or it's just me.

Needless to say the evening was beautiful. Linda was as enthralling in voice and person as she has ever been. And so skinny and sexy! Loved it.

Though billed as a Home for the Holidays concert, it was truly an All of Me show - many wonderful highlights over her entire career.

I did not write down the set list, I apologize for that.

Very brief time with Linda after, a few photos and out - there were so many people there!

But it was a great time,

Hi Folks!

I know there are several issues right now with things being slower then we would like them to be - especially when loading a specific post.

This is due to me having added one to many clients to the server - my bad!

Over the weekend and early next week I will be adding another hosting package to our server - then I am going to split the sites between them.

This will relieve any issues we are having.

More soon!

Back With A Bang

Combining the talents of Linda Eder and Frank Wildhorn has never led to anything less than a musical experience of sheer bliss, and the latest collaboration NOW is no exception.

Linda remains after 20+ years of recording an incomparable songstress – her ability to interpret a song, share it’s multiple layers and nuances, is a gift few are given. Her range and strength are still breathtaking.

Not Gonna Fall This Time – Taking its roots from the wonderful bounce and sing a long form that gave such fun to songs like “I Want More” (It’s Time – Atlantic Records – 1997), this tongue in cheek poke at the world of romance is a delightful way to laugh at a notion that keeps the chocolate and flower industries flourishing! Stressed and stubborn prevail in a charming lyric with amazingly light and fluid orchestration for a song with such a punch!

No Finer Man – We all have a father figure, whether he be our father by gift of life or not – a beautiful anthem that shares the strength of long lived admiration for a great man, this is a number to bring about a moment of reminisce, and appreciation. The melody and lyric are a perfect reflection of admiration for any fine man.

Ordinary People – Brenda Russell (Piano in the dark) may not be as well known to the world as a lyricist as she is a vocalist. Ordinary People gives us the rare opportunity to share in her writing talents. A simple and charming melody, the piano is allowed the right hand of Linda’s voice in this one – a lovely song.

In the Heat of the Night – The darkened streets of the Big City never had a finer musical accompaniment for the sneak about lovers! Dipped in musical shadows and dangerous desires, Heat of the Night brings out the tempo of the sly lover in all of us. Upbeat and seductive, a fun and sly little number.

What Did You See Inside the Stars – Tipping its toe across the border to play with light instrumentation and a gentle arrangement, Stars offers a warm and inviting exploration of the unrequited love. Vocally Linda takes the gentle road, giving generously without overwhelming the elegance of the song.

Now – Straight up Broadway, a classic combination of Linda and Frank, Now offers fans a showcase of two favored elements of an Eder performance – the use of the higher end of her register, and utilizing her own voice as her backup vocalist. Now is the perfect title track for this album – reaching to the old for roots, growing upward in new.

The Mad Hatter – From Wildhorns new Broadway production “Wonderland” the fun twist of having the Mad Hatter portrayed by a woman is unique and exciting. Upbeat and full to the brim with brass, Hatter is a fun, layered, storyteller.

A Woman in His Arms – From Wildhorns “Camille Caludel” (written for Eder) A Woman in His Arms remains a favored from the score for many fans. Embracing the emotional acquiesce of a woman that has fallen in love, the lyric and melody are longing, exciting, scared. A Woman in
His Arms is the prime example of a song that washes over you from the first time you hear it to the last.

Goodbye – Wanna’ dance? This is your song! A chasing melody that prances delightfully around a lyric that expresses the age old ‘see ya later’ feeling of the end of a not so popular romance. The horns and strings on this song are wonderful. Goodbye is pleasantly reminiscent of the grand days of the MGM musical with its full bodied delivery.

What’s Never Been Done Before – Also from Wildhorns “Camille Claudel”, What’s Never Been Done Before makes excellent use of the musical mountain climb required to truly express the emotion of a woman driven and striving. From a humble opening to the soaring finish, it carries you on a journey of desire and dreams that every artist feels at one time or another.

More than Heaven – Taking us back to the world of pop More Then Heaven is a fitting tribute to loves attempt to reconcile itself against a tangible world in an attempt to understand its emotional power. Linda’s voice is front and center here, offering a full bodied delivery against a light and warm arrangement.

Living in the Shadows – The close of an album is always a tricky choosing process. The choice for closing Now could not have been better – pulling together and blending the feel of much of the rest of the album into one song, Living in the Shadows feels rooted in a lullaby – a lullaby with great strength and beauty.

Good morning!

Very soon I will be deleting all zero post accounts. Sometime before the end of the year.

If you are a member and would like to keep your account, please increase your post count to at least one by posting in this thread - you can post anything you want, it can be as simple as "keep my account" - but something must be posted to lift your account from a zero post count or it will be deleted.

This decision was made in an effort to remove any spam accounts that have gotten through the nets - signatures are the biggest problem with links to advertising.

All accounts moving forward will have to be authorized by an administrator before activation.

Hi Folks!

There is peace to be found - it's down in a valley in Hammond WI! LOL

It really is nice to be back in my childhood home for a couple of nights though it comes with mixed memories - then again, what childhood home doesn't?

I have the guest cottage to myself and it is so quiet here I can here the high school football game some 5 miles away! LOL

Llamas tomorrow, home Sunday - BTW, the entire compound of buildings here were inspired by the work of Frank Loyd Wright. And of course there's all of Paulette's gardens to see too!

See you soon, with LLAMA pictures!

Hi All!

Just about to head out for the weekend here, I'm off to Hammond WI for the running of the llamas - if any of you are in my area, it's worth a trip too see this event! http://www.TheRunningOfTheLlamas.com

Lindsay Wagner will make her second guest appearance this coming Tuesday on the SciFy networks Warehouse 13 - you can see a preview clip of Lindsay's participation here: http://www.thebionicwoman.com/board/Thre...appearance

And last but not least, I am creating a video sharing center for The Bionic Woman that will facilitate the fans saving and archiving clips from the show as well as other facets of Lindsay's career - if it works out - well, I wont make any promises - but I know a lot of people get mad when the Linda clips disappear from YouTube

Have a great weekend,

New Addition - Fan Photo Gallery

Hi folks!

I have added a new gallery to the site this evening. Unlike the existing fan gallery, you no longer have to send photos to me to be included! You can upload, edit, and manage all of your own photos! The new gallery also has an automatic link generator that will provide links for posting on other forums, or within an HTML page - please choose the BB Code link text if you would like to post within the forum at EderFan, or the forum at LindaEder.com.

Several people have asked me lately if I have changed my mind about whether or not I intent to keep EderFan.com going, after having announced that I would retire the site in October on it's tenth anniversary.

At the time of that writing I was dealing with a level of illness that I am blessed to say has passed - a recent C T scan showed only a minimal growth on my left adrenal gland (sits on top the kidney). It will be followed up on, but the scan showed nothing else. For that I am thankful, but it has also been ten years!

I haven't decided, but I will let all of you know if I do decide to keep the site up.

Thanks for the support, and enjoy the new gallery!
