Hello!

Just a few notes on new design of the site.

The components that made up the original menu of EderFan have all been moved here to individual pages within the forum - the biggest reason for this is ease of use for both the guests, and the administrators.

You do not have to register in the forum to view the elements that were available to you before. The only items that require registration are the forum and the live chat. The live chat uses the forums member database to allow entry, therefore to use he chat, you must register in the forum. The chat cannot be registered for independently of the forum.

Sharing videos from other sites like YouTube.com no longer requires the user to add additional code to the URL - simply paste the url directly into the message you are typing. For example -

Code:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_6n3drbhV0

When pasted directly becomes

Easy enough eh?

The portal page that you might have seen on entry will only show once per day when you visit - after the system recognizes that you have seen the portal you will be directed right into the forum itself.

As always any questions are gladly accepted and answered.

Enjoy the new site,

Well my friends, over 20 years of rights disputes appear to have been settled.

Both The Six Million Dollar Man (through Time Warner) and The Bionic Woman (through Universal) will be released for the first time this fall to the North American market on DVD.

The Bionic Woman series creator and executive producer Ken Johnson has informed me that he will be adding commentary to two episodes that he wrote, "The Ghost Hunter" and the two part "Doomsday Is Tomorrow".

It has been confirmed that Universal intends to extend an invitation to Lindsay Wagner to participate in the release.

Both series will be released in their entirety. It is not known if the seasons will be able to be purchased separately.

In related news, as of Friday, I am changing the domain of my website from OfficialBionicWoman.com to TheBionicWoman.com

These events are not related, it was simply what I had wanted all along and at the time of publication could not have due to unavailability of the domain name. The old domain will forward to the new, and the entire series remains available to view online.

Phewwwww

Now that all of that is out of the way, how ya'll been!
I am sick and missing work today, can't sing along with my favorite music or it comes out raspy and then I cough, so what better way to spend my time than catching up on this wonderful web site. It is beautifully presented and having access to the photos and videos of Linda is a nice touch, especially since I live so far away from most of the places Linda performs. My husband and I would love to see her perform in New York, but that would be a budget buster, especially since it is our 25th wedding anniversary in June and in lieu of a special party or trip, it looks like we will be building an extension on our garage and beginning a landscaping project as well. Doing the majority of the work ourselves, our money-pit will probably be done by the time we are ready to tip over and take a dirt nap. Romantic eh? Sigh......Anyway, I am wondering if anyone has heard Linda hint at whether she will come "home" to perform in Minnesota this year or early next year? She always performs so well, always better than her recordings (yes, we believe she actually has topped the perfection of her recordings) whenever she is home. We are really hoping for the "Evening With Linda Eder" performance since she did TOSOM last time. We'll go no matter what she performs though! So, hope someone can enlighten us.....thanks!

Wonderful site, Stevie. Thanks for your devotion & hard work. I am a long time Linda fan and I am frustrated and at a loss to know where to get help with this issue. Sooooo, I thought I'd try here because you let me on!! I had been registered on Lindaeder.com forever but then one day, I was not registered any longer. I've tried to go back and re-register but they will not allow me to because they say my email address is already registered. The problem is, I've forgotten my password so they wont let me on the site. I can't find a "forgot password?" link which I find on lots of other websites. If you or Sherry or anyone involved with lindaeder.com could answer this email and help me to solve this problem, I'd very much appreciate it. And since Linda has the nicest fans, I was hoping someone here would feel my pain! Thanks to anyone who can help me with this issue. I think there used to be a webmaster link on Linda's site but I can't locate it now. I was at her latest San Francisco concert and wanted to comment on someone's question about it but couldn't.
Hello Friends!

First and foremost I hope all of you are not only enjoying but surviving the Holiday season! I know how much it can take out of us with the three piled up back to back like they are. And if you’re lucky, you’re not living with a foot of snow as I am!

I am also writing to let you know that I have a friend Phil who has recently become a representative of Pampered Chef! Good for Phil I say! So I agreed to host an “online” party with him. I feel confident in doing this because I know the line of product – one just need to look at an 8” chef’s knife and see that it’s made out of carbon and not stainless to know you’re in good hands.

If you would like to participate and get something for yourself, just go to http://www.pamperedchef.biz/getpamperedw...Id=2370414

That is the direct link for my hosted show online. All orders must be in by the 29th.

With that, again, Happy Holidays!

Food - Healing - Ditching Pissy

Well, ya gotta eat right? An there's no point in letting anything drag you down too far too long. So go cook!

I realized that tonight - how long its been since I stepped into the kitchen and really took the time to use the two best tools any cook could have to CREATE something.

Now don't get me wrong. Any time you prepare any type of food for a loved one(s) you are giving. I like that cooking is a loving process. But lets face it - in time constraints or moments in life where demands pull us to other places, we've all opened a box of macaroni and cheese and nuked some fish sticks! No harm, no foul. But to create ------ ohhh to cut - chop - stew - mix - taste - add - ohhh to create in the kitchen.

There's some fun. And relief, and solace, and healing. Eben over the simplest of creative choices.

Over the summer though I was blessed with such a wonderful time with the gardens, I also learned that I have pancreatitis. Now for any of you that know me that means that food just got back burnered from eat and eat to - uh oh - what can I eat? "6 small meals a day, avoid fat and too much spice, and 2 acid reducing tablets a day".

Well hell - why even walk into the kitchen. And a few other things sorta sunk my ship as the fall approached. Life as it goes on and death as it ends for others.

So tonight I decided I need to cook. NOW - get back on track - eat a small portion - eat none if need be - but go back and get to work. Go make something.

For some reason once I had made up my mind that I was going to do that I had the strongest craving for crab salad.

I cooked and created - I modified, added, or omitted - and once again proved to myself something I may need to use to remind myself of part of the quality of my person when life starts to chunk away at me.

I can cook.

And now as a I enjoy a small portion of the salad with a piece of toast, I feel better.

Here is my version of the recipe - the grapes add a wonderful sweetness to balance the acidity of the vinegar and all seafood needs a kiss of dill [Smile]

Enjoy!

Stevie

3-5 Oz of imitation crab
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion - use the green, omit the white - munch on them later with a tomato
1/4 cup finely diced celery
3 tbsp mayo
1 tbsp ketchup
1.5 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1.5 tsp red wine or balsamic vinegar
1.5 tsp lemon juice
little pepper - try to avoid the salt as many of our ingredients are pre-salted
1/2 cup good fresh red/purple grapes halved
1 tsp dill (dried) if you have fresh, wonderful and just about double the amount

Mix all - chill - chill is important - many people are so tempted to serve a chilled salad before the ingredients have really had a chance to marry and blend - give it that hour to rest.

Thanks reading and letting me vent [Smile]
