I am still waiting for my copy but for those of you that have it, what do you think so far?

RE: TOSOM REVIEWS
Since I am unable to get to Barnes & Noble until this weekend and I'm not very patient, I am currently downloading it from iTunes as I am typing this. I will be sure to post a review as soon as I listen to it.

Hi Guys,
I got TOSOM today and it is fabulous...I will be listening to it non stop for the next
week and probably longer...It really was worth the wait. Having seen Linda
and the gang perform it makes it more special...I am humming the tunes as
I write...Enjoy your CD's

RE: TOSOM REVIEWS
Over all it will take me a while to get used to

I like the familiarity of If I Could and Both Sides now though I dont like all the flat harmony in the latter

Theres also a glitch in the start of The Other Side Of Me

Least I think there is

Doesnt sound right

RE: TOSOM REVIEWS
My bad - no glitch - Linda confirmed with me the transition was intentional

RE: TOSOM REVIEWS
I am also waiting for the time to get to a Barnes & Noble - I'm hoping to make it happen today. I have avoided getting it via iTunes because I can't afford both and I still like to have the actual CD to play in my CD player (not to mention there's the bonus song). Hopefully, I will report back soon. So far, from what I read, most people seem to enjoy it. I've always enjoyed Linda and own all of her albums except for Broadway: My Way. Still, I'm more of a pop loving person than a Broadway/Standard loving person so I'm very much interested in hearing the CD!!!!!

RE: TOSOM REVIEWS
Hi, I'm a new member.
While I enjoy listening to The Other Side Of Me, for me, it is no where near as enjoyable as the Linda Eder music that I have come to know and love. I'm a country music fan too and I LIKE listening to country artists like Reba, Suzy Bogguss, Martina McBride, etc but I LOVE listening to Linda's original songs. With those other artists, I'll listen to their songs one time over a period of months but Linda'a songs I can listen to over and over and over - even within an hour.

In my humble opinion, she has the best and most beautiful voice I've ever heard. Her other songs give me chills and can literally bring tears to my eyes at times. The combination of softness and power is incredible. The Other Side of me will never stir those emotions. Like I said - I like it but I don't love it. I truly hope that Linda doesn't totally abandon her old style - I would be so heartbroken if she did.

In a few months, I am going to (God willing), be a grandfather. As my grandson gets a little older, I'm going to introduce him to beautiful, fantastic music because it has given me joy all of my life (I have several thousand songs on my i-pod). The first song I play for him will be a Linda Eder song (haven't decided which one yet) from one of her other albums. I'll get around to the new one - but not for quite a while.

My opinion is probably in the minority but I figured I get it out there.

RE: TOSOM REVIEWS
You are absolutly correct, Stevie and I applaud her for doing what she wants. I just hope we get a balance of the new and the old in the future. By the way - great site and thanks for all the work running it.
